Theban Requiem is an etching by the late Scottish contemporary artist Bruce Thomson, a large frog climbing through a swirl of hatched line with a smaller one below it and a row of small animal skulls along the foot of the plate.

Bruce gives the subject an elegiac, funereal weight, the title itself a lament for that doomed royal line. The plate is among the most sombre of his mythology etchings.
