Leda and the Swan II is Bruce Thomson's second plate of the Greek myth in which Zeus, as a swan, comes to Leda, queen of Sparta.

Taller and more elongated than the first Leda plate, it shows how he reworked a favourite subject, the two figures drawn into a single unbroken contour. It belongs with his mythology etchings.
